The Cost of Camp Beyond
Campers sleep in gender inclusive groups of campers. Sleeping accommodations are in bunk houses, in platform tents, or other structures (on a nice night, a hammock for the brave!). Adult Cabin Counselors sleep nearby in staff groups. Camp Beyond’s staff to camper ratio is 5:1 to ensure that campers are safe, cared for, and have great role models throughout their week.
No camper will be turned away based on ability to pay. We have created a tiered pricing structure that will meet the needs of any family hoping to attend. A $50 deposit is required for all reservations:
Tier A, $800 per camper, per session– Closest to TRUEST cost of camp, if you’re able to pay this—please do, as this will help us get more campers to camp!
Tier B, $700 per camper, per session – Partially subsidized cost, representing a $100 subsidy
Tier C, $600 per camper, per session– Highly subsidized cost, representing a $200 subsidy
Tier D, I need to discuss and/or apply for financial aid–$50 deposit required to save your spot
The quality of the camp experience in terms of sleeping accommodations, activities, meals, and snacks and activities are the same, regardless of a family’s cash contribution towards registration.
We thank those who support Camp Beyond’s financial assistance program for their thoughtful generosity in support of LGBTQ+ youth and their families.
To make a donation in any amount, in support of a camper’s registration, please use this secure online form and select the campaign “Beyond”. Together, we create spaces where LGBTQ+ youth may thrive.
