Celebrate Halloween with fellow LGBTQ+ youth. Wear a costume (optional) and enjoy indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, seasonal treats, hot cider, a bonfire and a spooky walking trail.
Parents, guardians and siblings are welcome to attend Beyond Hooverween from 7:30 pm – 9 pm.
Optional Sleepover Add-On: $25 per person, for LGBTQ_ youth ages 12-17 | Includes Saturday night movie and lodging and Sunday pancake breakfast with gluten-free options. | Accommodations are bunk beds in a heated lodge with electricity, indoor bathrooms and showers. Recharge during winter break with outdoor adventures and self-care. Activities include snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, arts and crafts, games, karaoke, bonfires and movie nights. Campers stay in a heated lodge with modern amenities, supported by professional adult staff who are LGBTQ+.
Accommodations are bunk beds in a heated lodge with electricity, indoor bathrooms and showers. Campers must bring their own bedding. Price includes 3 nights lodging and 9 meals.

Celebrate Pride Month in a safe, affirming environment designed for LGBTQ+ families and youth. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, archery, pottery, nature trails, bonfires, karaoke and movie nights. Set on Cayuga Lake, Beyond’s day camp provides an affirming space for kids to make friends and explore new skills. Weekly themes focus on self-expression, adventure, teamwork and wellness. Activities include swimming, boating, archery, crafts, nature exploration and storytelling. Led by professional staff from within the LGBTQ+ community.
Beyond’s Rainbow Explorers day camp is appropriate for kids ages 8-11 who will benefit from the support of an LGBTQ+ inclusive environment. They may have LGBTQ+ family members, require a space where their gender identity and expression is supported, seek friendships with peers who share similar experiences, or simply feel at home surrounded by LGBTQ+ community. Campers will grow self-confidence, practice kindness, and build empathy.
Rainbow Explorers is a cohort group within the larger Girl Scouts Day Camp held throughout July. Rainbow Explorers will also participate in activities with all day campers. Campers may register for one week or multiple weeks.

Camp Beyond Binary offers traditional overnight summer camp activities in a safe, affirming environment led by professional staff from within the LGBTQ+ community, including mental health professionals who specialize in supporting the needs of LGBTQ+ youth and their families.
LGBTQ+ youth are encouraged and supported through self-expression and self-advocacy activities, peer relationships and an emphasis on positive self-worth and belonging.

During Camp Beyond Binary at Camp Amahami, Deposit, NY
The Youth Leadership Cohort at Camp Beyond Binary is designed for older campers who are ready to try something a little different — to step into leadership, build community and help shape what camp can be in the future.
Participants will:
· Co-design and lead activities with other campers
· Practice leadership by shadowing Beyond staff and supporting younger campers
· Reflect on their strengths, interests and values
· Explore what queer leadership means to them personally and in the community
· Create a personal and collective archive of their camp experience through various media Cohort members still get to enjoy the fun of camp— swimming, art house, nature walks and plenty of downtime to relax and just be themselves.
*Cost includes all meals, lodging and leadership/camp activities. Campers will have access to swimming, arts and crafts and all outdoor education options. Financial aid is available.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellation notifications will only be accepted in writing to info@gsnypenn.org. Refunds for cancellations (less the deposit) are made only if the notification is received by prior the registration deadline, which is two weeks before the start of camp. After the registration deadline has passed, refunds (less the deposit) may only be given if someone on the waitlist can fill the spot. If there is no waitlist, no refund will be issued. A cancellation may qualify for a refund (less the deposit) if the cancellation is due to a qualified medical reason. A written refund request along with a doctor’s excuse must be received within two weeks of the cancellation or program date. Deposits for camps are non-refundable.
