Celebrating our sixth summer of Camp Beyond Binary and third annual LGBTQ+ Youth Leadership Cohort!
Camp Beyond Binary offers traditional overnight summer camp activities in a safe, affirming environment led by professional staff from within the LGBTQ+ community, including mental health professionals who specialize in supporting the needs of LGBTQ+ youth and their families.

LGBTQ+ youth are encouraged and supported through self-expression and self-advocacy activities, peer relationships and an emphasis on positive self-worth and belonging.

During Camp Beyond Binary at Camp Amahami, Deposit, NY
The Youth Leadership Cohort at Camp Beyond Binary is designed for older campers who are ready to try something a little different — to step into leadership, build community and help shape what camp can be in the future.
Participants will:
· Co-design and lead activities with other campers
· Practice leadership by shadowing Beyond staff and supporting younger campers
· Reflect on their strengths, interests and values
· Explore what queer leadership means to them personally and in the community
· Create a personal and collective archive of their camp experience through various media Cohort members still get to enjoy the fun of camp— swimming, art house, nature walks and plenty of downtime to relax and just be themselves.
*Cost includes all meals, lodging and leadership/camp activities. Campers will have access to swimming, arts and crafts and all outdoor education options. Financial aid is available.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellation notifications will only be accepted in writing to info@gsnypenn.org. Refunds for cancellations (less the deposit) are made only if the notification is received by prior the registration deadline, which is two weeks before the start of camp. After the registration deadline has passed, refunds (less the deposit) may only be given if someone on the waitlist can fill the spot. If there is no waitlist, no refund will be issued. A cancellation may qualify for a refund (less the deposit) if the cancellation is due to a qualified medical reason. A written refund request along with a doctor’s excuse must be received within two weeks of the cancellation or program date. Deposits for camps are non-refundable.
